About Us
SF Apparels
Established in 2020, SF Apparels is a celebration of the timeless elegance of Lucknow Chikankari, rooted in heritage and refined for the modern connoisseur. Since our inception, we have been dedicated to serving our customers with authentic, high-quality Chikan garments, including Chikan cotton long tops, embroidered Chikan kurtis, Chikan sarees, salwar kameez, and unstitched Chikankari suit materials.
The continued trust and patronage of our valued clients have positioned SF Apparels among the leading manufacturers, exporters, and retailers of genuine Chikankari in Lucknow — the historic City of Nawabs, where this exquisite craft was born and perfected.
Craftsmanship That Speaks Poetry
Our collections showcase a rich assortment of embroidered Chikan fabrics and garments in pristine white, often described as poetry on fabric. Alongside this classic purity, we embrace vibrant expressions of colour, offering an expansive palette of hues crafted on premium fabrics such as voile, cambric, terry voile, organdy, chanderi, silk, georgette, crepe, and more.
To cater to festive and trousseau needs, we present innovative fusions of Chikankari with Aari, Zardozi, and Kamdani, blending tradition with contemporary design sensibilities.
Heritage Meets Global Standards
Through our export division, SF Apparels has gained valuable exposure to global markets, enabling us to achieve international standards in finishing, design, cuts, fits, and trimmings. Every stitched garment reflects precision, comfort, and timeless appeal.
The constant efforts of our designers and skilled artisans, enriched by decades of collective experience and insightful feedback from our esteemed customers, have helped us carve a distinct niche within the Chikan industry—allowing us to serve you better with every creation.
The Art of Chikankari
Each Chikankari masterpiece begins with hand-carved wooden blocks, used to trace intricate patterns on fabric. Inspired by Awadh’s royal regalia, Persian art, paisleys, florals, and symmetrical motifs, Chikankari also draws influence from the Taj Mahal’s floral and geometric Pietra Dura designs.
A single motif often involves multiple stitch techniques, each executed by a different specialist artisan. This collaborative artistry gives Chikankari its unmatched elegance and individuality. With a repertoire of 32 distinct stitches, further enriched by Kamdani and Zardozi, every stitch in Chikankari holds a unique and irreplaceable purpose.
Our Promise
At SF Apparels, we don’t just create garments—we preserve heritage, empower artisans, and deliver authenticity. Every piece is a tribute to India’s rich craftsmanship and our commitment to quality, tradition, and timeless beauty.
